New Cover

Book cover for Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West. A watercolor sky in reds, oranges, and pale cream bleeds downward in vertical drips over visible paper texture, with a horizontal fold crease across the middle. A black mountain range runs along the lower third and dissolves into solid black, where the title sits in large red serif type above the author's name in white sans-serif.

A Few Thoughts

A light, quick read. Wholesome fun for the entire family.

Cover Notes

Smaller I knew I wanted to try and recreate the title card from Blood Simple and I think I got preeettty close. Then, I painted this red sunset based on this painting (or photo?) I found by Tommy Malekoff.
